Executive Communities in East Africa is looking for a mid-to-senior-level sales manager to join our team! The ideal candidate is target-driven, fun-loving, hard-working, an excellent listener and comfortable to engage with top executives across corporate East Africa.

It is the responsibility of the sales manager to find new partners and maintain relationships with existing customers by working closely with them and understanding their business development needs.

What we require:

  • Identify and prospect new clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions to meet their requirements
  • Present product/service offerings to clients effectively and persuasively
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of products/services

What we’d love to see from you:

  • A proven track record of systematic prospecting
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great admin skills (experience with Hubspot is an advantage)
  • Proficiency in using Google Docs and Sheets (or MS Word and Excel) 
  • The confidence to speak comfortably with high-end professionals
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • The ability to interact positively with the team both in person and online
  • The ability to self-manage in a work-from-home environment
  • Own transport or ability to get to events
  • Highly organised and deadline-oriented working habits
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets

Remuneration: Salary is negotiable based on experience and competence, with generous sales commission being paid out over and above the salary. The cost-to-company package includes a cell phone allowance.

Work from home/ office: In our current model, all employees are working from home but as the team grows we will be renting office space in the future at which point you will be required to come into the office one to two days a week (and sometimes more during specific deadlines or events). The ability to attend these office days consistently will be vital.
