Jackline Aluda joins the running for the 2025 CFO Awards for East Africa

Cold Solutions Kenya group CFO Jackline Aluda has been nominated for the inaugural CFO Awards for East Africa. She becomes the seventh finance leader to join the list of nominees who will battle it out for the prestigious awards.

The awards recognise the contributions and leadership of finance executives making an impact at listed companies, large corporations, state owned entities, and government institutions. Winners will be celebrated at an awards ceremony scheduled for 27 November in Nairobi.

Jackline began her career working as an accountant at the Association of Local Government Authorities of Kenya (ALGAK) in January 2006. Jackline then joined Cellucom Group as the chief accounting officer in January 2007, serving in the role for nearly two years before being appointed as finance manager. After a three-year stint, Jackline transitioned to Interswitch East Africa, where she assumed the position of financial controller from June 2012 to December 2017. In January 2018, she joined Garden City Development, taking on the role of group head of finance until December 2022.

Jackline holds a BCom in accounting and finance from Strathmore University and an MSc in finance and accounting from the University of Nairobi. She is a certified public accountant (CPA-K).
