Doreen Mangesho, director of finance and administration at PASS Trust, is among the nominees for the 2026 CFO East Africa Awards, with nearly two decades of financial leadership across Tanzania's non-profit and banking sectors.
Doreen Mangesho, director of finance and administration at PASS Trust, has been nominated for the 2026 CFO East Africa Awards.
Since November 2022, she has served as director of finance and administration at PASS Trust, where she oversees strategic financial management and administrative leadership within the agribusiness sector.
Before that, she spent over 13 years at CCBRT in Tanzania, joining as chief accountant in August 2009, taking on an additional reporting manager role from 2017 to 2018, and ultimately serving as head of finance until November 2022. Earlier in her career, she worked as an auditor at KPMG and briefly as an internal auditor at NMB Bank.
Doreen holds a BCom and an MBA in accounting and finance, both from the University of Dar es Salaam.
Dubbed the "Oscars of Finance", the CFO Awards celebrate leaders who raise the bar for financial leadership across East Africa.
The 2026 nominees will be celebrated at a gala event on 26 November, where winners will be announced.
