Hilda has over a decade of experience in leading finance functions and seeing teams through strategic and operational decision-making at market giants in Lesotho and Tanzania.
Vodacom Tanzania finance director Hilda Bujiku has been nominated for the 2025 CFO Awards for East Africa. She was appointed to the role in January 2022.
Hilda has been with the telecommunications provider since 2012, having moved briefly to Vodacom Lesotho in 2016 before returning to Vodacom Tanzania in 2018.
Prior to her senior roles at Vodacom, Hilda spent over five years at Millicom International Cellular Tanzania, which she joined after a one-year stint as an auditor at Ernst & Young (EY).
She holds a BCom in accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam and is a certified public accountant (CPA-T).
The awards, which will take place on 27 November, shine a spotlight on finance executives who exemplify impactful and exceptional leadership.
