Our discussions will center around the objectives and structure of our regional CFO East Africa community. Participants will deliberate on the primary goals, such as fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and enhancing financial leadership across the region. They would discuss the organisational framework, frequency of gatherings and the topics that we would explore.
We will also engage in a conversation on the 5 summits that preceded the Ugandan chapter launch namely:
- Launch of CFO East Africa – Nairobi, October 2023
- Man versus Machine Summit – Nairobi, February 2024
- CFOs Summit on ESG – Nairobi, May 2024
- Launch of the Tanzania chapter – Dar es Salaam, May 2024
The summit would focus on capacity building and knowledge sharing among the member countries. We will explore additional benefits of having a community which will include identifying talent for cross-border opportunities. Participants will also receive two copies of the exciting editions of the CFO East Africa magazine.
Finally, we will discuss the roadmap to the launch of the CFO East Africa Awards in 2025.
