Ahmed Mhada is the CEO of Mbeya Cement.
Until April 2025, he had served as the company's chief financial officer. He began his career as a financial analyst at Tanzania Cigarette Company in 2011. He then joined Airtel Tanzania as an assistant manager in business planning and analysis, serving in that capacity for two years.
In 2014, Ahmed transitioned to Tanga Cement Company for a four-year stint as a management accountant. He took on the role of financial controller at Saint-Gobain Lodhia Gypsum in Arusha in 2018 before returning to Tanga Cement in a similar capacity in 2019
He holds a BCom from the University of Dar es Salaam and an MBA from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign. He is a certified public accountant (CPA-T).
