Alexander Muasya

Alexander Muasya is the acting group finance director at WPP Scangroup , appointed effective 1 October 2026.

He joined the company as a financial controller in November 2024, and as regional controller for Africa reported to the group chief financial officer, leading finance governance and compliance across the company's African operations and overseeing treasury and funding for markets outside Kenya.

Before joining WPP-Scangroup, Alexander spent three years as group financial controller at G4S. He spent more than seven years at KPMG across its Kenya and US practices. He joined KPMG Kenya as an audit associate in September 2011, was promoted to senior auditor in 2014, and later worked as an audit senior at KPMG US in Boston before returning to Nairobi as audit manager at KPMG East Africa in April 2018.

Alexander holds an MBA in accounting and finance and a BE in mathematics and business studies, both from the University of Nairobi. He is a certified public accountant (CPA-K).
