Angela Koech is the chief operating officer (COO) of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) Rwanda.
Until April 2025, she served as the regional CFO of Guaranty Trust.
She began her career as an accounts assistant at Total Petrochemicals in April 2009 before joining Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) as a senior associate in September 2009. After five years, Angela was appointed as the head of financial control at GTB Rwanda, where she served for one year. In January 2015, she assumed the role of the group CFO at the bank, a position she held for six years before her current appointment.
She holds a BCom in accounting from Strathmore University and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certfied Accountants (ACCA).
