Asibat Mwambu is the head of finance at Knight Frank Uganda.
He took on the role in December 2024 after a three-year stint as CFO of Goldstar Insurance that began in November 2021.
Asibat began his career as a statistician at Windsor Consult in June 2009 before joining Ernst & Young (now EY) as an auditor in October the same year. After six years at the audit firm, he transitioned to UAP Old Mutual, where he was appointed as chief accountant. He served at the insurer for three years, assuming the position of finance specialist at Berkeley Energy in October 2018.
Asibat holds a Bachelor of Statistics from Makerere University, an MBA from Heriot Watt University, and an ACCA certification. He is a certified public accountant (CPA-U).
