Ivy Kimori is the group head of strategy at East African Breweries PLC (EABL), a position she assumed in June 2025. She has been with EABL since August 2021, having served as regional head of finance for nearly four years before her move into the strategy role. In the first half of 2025 she also served as acting finance director of Serengeti Breweries Limited, the Tanzania-based subsidiary of EABL.
Ivy began her career as an assistant accountant at Tetra Pak before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers in Nairobi in September 2003 as a senior associate. In October 2008 she relocated to Birmingham to join PwC UK as a manager, a role she held for nearly four years. She returned to Kenya in 2012 and joined Diageo as global audit and risk manager, then moved to EABL in August 2016 as head of supply finance for Kenya Breweries Limited. In January 2019 she joined Unilever as supply chain finance manager for East Africa before returning to EABL in 2021. She has also served as a board director of The Turning Point Trust.
Ivy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and an MBA from Warwick Business School. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K).
