Lawrence Kimathi Kiambi joined KCB Group in 2015 as the CFO. He has over two decades of senior leadership experience, having worked at a number of multinationals during his career.

He joined Cadbury as the Finance and IT director for East and Central Africa in 2005, before taking on the role of Finance director for East and Central Africa for British American Tobacco in 2008. Three years later, he became the Regional Finance manager for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In 2012, he took on the role of CFO at AIG before joining East African Breweries Limited as Group Supply Finance director in 2013.

He serves on the KCB Uganda board and is a trustee on the KCB Staff Pension Fund defined benefit scheme.

Lawrence holds a Masters in Business Administration from Warwick Business School UK, a B.Sc majoring in Accounting from United States International University and is a certified public accountant of Kenya. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and Institute of Directors.
