Linda Mfuchi Were is the chief financial officer of L’Oréal East Africa.
She began her career at L’Oréal East Africa as a master data officer in 2014, before transitioning into finance as a junior financial controller the following year. She progressed through the ranks, serving as senior financial controller for five years, before moving to the L’Oréal regional office in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2022 as corporate finance controller. In February 2025, she returned to Nairobi as chief financial officer of L’Oréal East Africa, becoming the first Black woman to hold the position.
Linda studied international business administration with a focus in finance at the United States International University (USIU) in Nairobi.
