Micah Nyariki is the acting head of finance at DP World Kenya, where he leads the commercial finance function for Surgipharm, a position he has held since June 2024.
He joined DP World from British American Tobacco (BAT), where he spent nearly six years in progressively senior finance roles across East and Southern Africa, including country finance manager for Rwanda, corporate finance manager for export markets spanning Tanzania, Mauritius, Reunion, Madagascar, Comoros and Seychelles, and finance manager for Kenya.
Before BAT, he spent three years at KPMG East Africa as an audit senior. He began his career with short stints at Stanbic Bank Kenya and Safaricom.
Micah holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from Moi University and an MA in economics from the University of Nairobi. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K).
