Patrick Ramos

Patrick Ramos is the head of finance for Sub-Saharan Africa at Cipla.

He joined the global pharmaceutical company in April 2025 after three years as the head of finance at Cosmos. Patrick began his career as a trainee at Kenya Airways in June 2007. At the end of the three-month training period, he joined TotalEnergies as an assistant accountant, working his way up to credit controller in January 2010 and financial reporting and controlling accountant in October 2011. His time at the petroleum and gas supplier ended with a two year stint as commercial business partner and analyst between November 2013 and March 2015.

In May 2019, he was appointed as finance controller at Sanofi, serving in the role for two years. He joined Cosmos in April 2022.

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Nairobi, and a Master of Science in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT).
