Ronald Businge is the director of business finance at American Tower Corporation (ATC) Nigeria.
He began his career in June 2009 as a mobile money and customer advisor at MTN. A year later, he joined British American Tobacco as a treasury, risk, and tax accountant. Over a three-year stint, he was responsible for cash management, tax compliance, insurance, and risk, while also overseeing the company’s pension scheme and managing over 23 bank accounts.
In 2013, Ronald took on the role of senior financial accountant at Uganda Clays . During his two-year tenure, he managed core financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and the preparation of financial reports.
Ronald joined American Tower Corporation (ATC) in 2015 as a senior accountant for financial reporting. He was promoted to financial reporting manager in 2017 and served in the position for nearly five years. In this role, he led internal and external financial reporting functions, supporting compliance and decision-making across the business.
In July 2022, Ronald took on the role of CFO at ATC Uganda in July 2022. Over the next three years, he played a key role in driving financial strategy and performance.
He holds a BCom in finance and accounting from Makerere University, an MBA in accounting and finance from Heriot Watt University, and an ACCA certification. Ronald is also a certified public accountant (CPA-U).
