Sudhir Khanna is the financial director of Mantrac Tanzania.
He took up the role in November 2022 after serving as finance director at Unatrac from March 2021 to December 2022. Before that, he was based in West Africa as the finance director of Mantrac Nigeria, a position he held from July 2017 to February 2021. Between February 2016 and June 2017, Sudhir worked at Cummins Energy Solutions as financial controller.
Sudhir began his career as an accounts officer at Tata Engineering & Locomotive Company in 1983, after completing an audit assistantship at BD Shah & Company.
In January 1983, he joined Tata Engineering & Locomotive Company as an accounts officer, serving for over three years. He then moved to Hindustan Motors in March 1986 as assistant manager for accounts, where he remained until July 1990. Between July and December 1990, he worked as finance manager at Birla GTM/E Technical Services, followed by a three-year stint as management accountant at Indeco Milling from January 1991 to December 1993. In December 1993, Sudhir was appointed chief accountant at Mazembe Tractor Company
From 1994 to 2016, he served in progressively senior roles at Barloworld Equipment, including as chief accountant, finance manager, and ultimately finance director.
He holds a BCom in accounting and finance from Maharshi Dayanand University and is a chartered accountant.
