Titus Langat is the head of finance at Equity Group Holdings.
He began his career in 2005 as an accounts payables officer at KCB Bank Group in Nairobi. From 2006 to 2008, he worked as an accountant at Transnational Bank (now Access Bank Kenya ), where he was part of the treasury and finance operations back office team. He joined Equity Bank in 2008 as an accountant, preparing internal reports for management and submitting regulatory filings to the Central Bank of Kenya.
In 2009, he briefly worked at Mater Misericordiae Hospital as a senior financial accountant, before joining Ecobank Kenya as a senior financial officer. He then assumed the role of CFO at Ecobank Rwanda in April 2011, a position he held until 2025.
Titus holds a BSc in Statistics from the University of Nairobi and is a certified public accountant. He is pursuing an MBA at Heriot Watt University.
