Asibat Mwambu has assumed the role of head of finance at real estate consultancy Knight Frank Uganda.

I am passionate about building robust control environments, and I believe that effective financial management is key to achieving exceptional performance and accountability,” he said.
The fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants of UK (FCCA) has 15 years experience in insurance, energy and financial services.
Asibat leaves Goldstar Insurance after three years as the CFO. Before he joined the Ugandan insurer, Asibat spent three years as a finance specialist at Berkeley Energy, a position he assumed after a three-year stint as chief accountant at UAP Old Mutual Group. He began his career as a statistician at Winsor Consult in 2009 and took up the role of auditor at EY later the same year.
Asibat holds a CPA certification from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Makerere University. In 2023, he completed an MBA at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
