BAT signs up for CFO East Africa corporate membership

British American Tobacco brings a cross-functional leadership team into CFO East Africa as it takes up a corporate membership.

British American Tobacco has joined CFO East Africa as a corporate member, with finance director Catherine Chepkonga gaining full access to the community's events, insights, and networks, alongside Bryan Karimi, head of IT, and Daniele Enganeben, head of HR.

The executives will attend CFO summits across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as affiliated events in South Africa, including CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.

The package also includes print editions of CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable CPD, and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.

British American Tobacco (BAT) is a leading consumer goods company, with brands sold in over 170 countries. Established in Kenya since 1907, BAT Kenya is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange and manufactures and markets cigarettes and next-generation tobacco and nicotine products across the East African region.
