Billy is a seasoned finance professional, who has been making waves in the banking industry since August 2001 when he began his career as a business finance manager at KCB Bank. With over two decades of experience, he has held various pivotal roles, including group financial accountant at Commercial Bank of Africa (now NCBA) from April 2012 to November 2014 and head of finance at I&M Bank Limited from October 2019 to January 2021. Prior to his appointment to the acting CFO office, he was serving as the deputy general manager of finance since August 2023.
Billy brings a wealth of expertise in financial engineering, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning to his role. Throughout his journey, he has showcased his financial prowess and leadership acumen. From August 2008 to July 2009, he served as the senior planning and reporting manager at K-Rep Bank Limited, where he diligently tracked financial targets, advised on corrective actions, and managed financial reporting.
