Carole Nderitu has been appointed chief operating officer of Minet Kenya.
She has been with Minet for over nine years, serving concurrently as director of finance and administration and, since April 2024, as director of retail and SME.
Carole began her career at Alexander Forbes Financial Services in June 2006 as a senior fund accountant, managing defined benefit and defined contribution pension scheme accounts and delivering trustee-ready financial reports in compliance with IFRS.
She moved to Aon Kenya Insurance Brokers in January 2010 as head of fund accounting, advising boards of trustees and investment committees on investment opportunities and strengthening internal controls and reporting frameworks across pension schemes.
She was promoted to chief accountant at Aon Kenya in January 2014, before joining Minet Kenya as director of finance and administration in July 2017.
Carole holds an MBA in finance and a BCom in finance, both from the University of Nairobi, and is a certified public accountant (CPA-K).
