He moves from KPMG East Africa, where he served as associate director in the audit practice, bringing over 15 years of experience across audit and risk management.
Donald Omengo has been appointed CFO of Jubilee Life Insurance, effective 17 August 2026. He joins from KPMG, where he built a career spanning Kenya, East Africa and the United States.
He began his career at KPMG Kenya in October 2008 as an audit senior, leading audit and review engagements across financial services and consumer and industrial markets clients, with a focus on compliance with IFRS and international standards on auditing.
Donald was seconded to KPMG in New York as a senior associate from August 2012, spending nearly two years in the US before returning to Nairobi.
He rejoined KPMG East Africa in April 2014 as audit manager, progressing to senior manager and subsequently to associate director in the audit practice, a position he held until his move to Jubilee Life Insurance.
Over his time at the firm he developed deep expertise in technical accounting, risk management and governance across East African and international markets.
Donald holds a BSc in computer science from the University of Nairobi and is a certified public accountant (CPA-K).
