She will lead the organisation's financial strategy and regulatory compliance, bringing over 15 years of progressive finance experience.
Eddah Waweru has assumed the role of CFO at Impact Kenya. She steps into the role after serving as finance manager since May 2023.
She began her career at CMC Motors Group in February 2005 as an accounts assistant in accounts payables. Eddah then progressed to assistant accountant for assets and debtors in January 2006, before being promoted to treasury accountant in January 2008. In that role, she managed complex financial instruments and bank reconciliations for over 12 years.
Eddah joined Food Security Millers as senior accountant in June 2020, serving in that position for three years. In May 2023, she transitioned to the role of finance manager at Impact Kenya, where she has implemented a comprehensive new accounting system, established a robust audit readiness program and led cost-saving initiatives.
She holds a BCom in finance from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), a CPA-K qualification from Strathmore University, and a post graduate diploma in tax administration from the Kenya School of Revenue Administration.
