Ezekiel Lovililo, CFO at NICOL, is among the nominees for the 2026 CFO East Africa Awards, with over a decade of financial leadership across insurance and the public sector in Tanzania.
Ezekiel Lovililo, CFO at NICOL, has been nominated for the 2026 CFO East Africa Awards.
Before his appointment as CFO in July 2022, he spent nearly five years as CFO at Britam Tanzania from October 2017 to July 2022.
Prior to that, he held roles at First Assurance Tanzania, serving as financial accountant and then assistant CFO, and earlier in his career worked as an accountant at the Ministry of Finance Tanzania.
Ezekiel holds a Bachelor of accounting and finance and a MSc in accounting and finance, both from Mzumbe University. He is a certified public accountant and holds a diploma in IPSAS from the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) of Tanzania, and a certificate in directorship from the Institute of Directors Tanzania.
Dubbed the 'Oscars of Finance', the CFO Awards celebrate leaders who raise the bar for financial leadership across East Africa.
The 2026 nominees will be celebrated at a gala event on 26 November, where winners will be announced.
