Innocent Murindabigwi has over 15 years at one of Rwanda's most significant public institutions.
Rwanda Social Security Board chief finance and contributions officer Innocent Murindabigwi has been nominated for the 2026 CFO Awards.
Innocent has spent over 15 years at the Rwanda Social Security Board, joining in September 2011 as finance division manager.
He was appointed head of finance and contributions in March 2013, a role he held for over 12 years before being appointed chief finance and contributions officer in July 2025.
In that role, he oversees the collection of all social security contributions and the financial management of the board's funds. Before joining RSSB, he spent over six years at La Rwandaise d'Assurance Maladie, serving as internal auditor and later principal internal auditor.
He began his career as chief accountant at Millennium Investment.
Dubbed the "Oscars of Finance", the CFO Awards celebrate leaders who raise the bar for financial leadership across East Africa.
The 2026 nominees will be celebrated at a gala event on 26 November, where winners will be announced.
