Jackline Kanyua takes over as finance director at Mitchell Cotts

She steps into her new role after serving in senior roles across EMEA, Asia and Latin America.

Jackline Kanyua has been appointed as the finance and strategy director at Mitchell Cotts. She takes on the role after more than a year as the CFO of Limuru Tea, bringing more than fifteen years of regional and international experience to the role. 

“Having transitioned from a different field, I am eager to apply my diverse experience to the logistics sector and make a meaningful impact. My goal is to contribute to transformative improvements and leave a lasting footprint in the industry,” she says.

Jackline began her career as an intern at Britam, later becoming an account assistant and then accountant. She joined KPMG East Africa as an associate accountant and rose through senior accountant to finance manager, supporting teams across EMEA, Asia, Europe and Latin America. She later moved to Superfoam as head of finance.

Jackline has also served in senior roles at Lipton Teas and Infusions as finance business partner and at Limuru Tea as chief financial officer and director. She holds a Bachelor of education in accounting from the Univerisyt of Nairobi and is a certified public accountant (CPA-K).
