Ira Kaviti, CFO at Jambojet, is among the nominees for the 2026 CFO East Africa Awards, with over 20 years of leadership across aviation, insurance, asset management and financial services.
Jambojet CFO Ira Kaviti has been nominated for the 2026 CFO East Africa Awards.
He has served as the airline's CFO since April 2022. Before that, he spent nearly three years at Centum Investment Company as group head of internal audit and chief audit executive, and almost nine years at Liberty Kenya and Liberty Life Assurance Uganda as head of internal audit for the East Africa region.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant to the Bermuda Monetary Authority, Fidelity International and the Office of the Auditor General of Bermuda through Frontier Financial Services, and held senior auditor roles at EY and Deloitte in both Nairobi and Bermuda.
Ira holds a BCom in accounting and finance from the University of Nairobi and is a certified public accountant of Kenya.
Dubbed the "Oscars of Finance", the CFO Awards celebrate leaders who raise the bar for financial leadership across East Africa.
The 2026 nominees will be celebrated at a gala event on 26 November, where winners will be announced.
