Josephine Mbabazi has been appointed as head of corporate services at Capital Markets Authority (CMA) Rwanda. Until March 2025, she had served as the director of finance at Real Contractors.
Josephine has held various roles in the finance industry, most notably chief accountant and later acting finance director at Inyange Industries between May 2020 and September 2021. She then joined Ruliba Clays, serving for more than two years as finance and administration manager before her transition to Real Contractors in 2024.
“While I’m excited for my next chapter at Capital Market Authority Rwanda , I leave with immense pride in what we’ve accomplished together like improved controls and processes positioning Real Contractors for continued success," she said.
She brings to the regulator over 17 years of experience across the construction and manufacturing industries, with expertise in financial planning and analysis, corporate budgeting, and strategic management.
Josephine holds an advanced diploma in accounting and business and a certification in finance and accounting from the Association of Charted Certified Accountants (ACCA). She is pursuing an MBA in strategy from Heriot Watt University.
