He will focus on operational and financial advisory, elevating client experience, and reinforcing the systems and processes that support the firm's growth.
Lameck Muriithi has been appointed group chief operations and financial officer (COFO) at ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, effective April 2026. Most recently, he was group CFO at PAIX Data Centres from August 2023.
He brings over two decades of experience across financial services, FMCG, investments, real estate, energy, and professional services sectors in Africa.
In his new role, Lameck will lead cross-functional teams in executing the group's corporate strategy across its Kenya, Tanzania, and Dubai businesses.
"My mantra is 'a ship in a harbor is safe, but that’s not what’s ships are built for'," he said.
He began his career at PwC Kenya as assistant manager of finance, before moving to PwC Rwanda as finance and operations manager in September 2012. In November 2013, he joined East Africa Exchange as group CFO, where he oversaw finance, HR, and office administration across Rwanda and Nigeria operations during the commodity exchange's startup and early growth stages.
In April 2016, Lameck returned to Anjarwalla & Khanna as group CFO, leading the finance strategy for A&K and eight affiliate businesses across Africa and Dubai. He joined Centum Investment Company in June 2019, serving first as group financial controller and subsequently as director of finance and portfolio operations.
Lameck holds an MBA in strategic management from Strathmore University and a BA in economics from Egerton University.
