Linda Mfuchi takes over as CFO of L'Oréal East Africa

Linda Mfuchi will take on the role of CFO at L'Oréal East Africa from 1 March 2025, after two years as corporate finance controller at L'Oréal. She boasts over a decade of experience in financial modelling, forecasting, planning, and reporting.

Linda joined the French cosmetics giant as master data officer in March 2014 before proceeding to the role of junior financial controller in November 2015. In August 2017, she was promoted to senior financial controller, a position she held for five years.

She holds a degree in international business administration from the United States International University (USIU).

Linda takes over from Mathieu Clavier, who has been appointed as the group internal control director.

Since he joined the company in July 2005, Mathieu has held various positions, rising through the ranks from its finance and operations cross track programme to CFO of L'Oréal East Africa most recently, a role he served in for three years.

“Matthieu's mission will be to further strengthen our internal control framework by developing a high-quality and effective network of internal control managers, improving and expanding our policies and systems, accelerating the digitalization of internal control activities,implementing Global NEO Run Support, and coordinating key activities such as self-assessment campaigns and fraud prevention,” the announcement by the company reads.
