Moses G. Kuria takes on Group CFO role

Moses G. Kuria has been promoted to Group CFO at CarePay International. Prior to his promotion, Moses was the MD of M-TIBA, CarePay International’s subsidiary in Kenya, which was launched in 2015 in partnership with Safaricom, M-PESA and PharmAccess.

Moses G. Kuria has been promoted to the position of Group CFO at CarePay International, effective 1 July 2023.

Prior to his promotion, Moses was the managing director of M-TIBA, CarePay International’s subsidiary in Kenya, which was launched in 2015 in partnership with Safaricom, M-PESA and PharmAccess.

The cloud-based platform digitises and automates the end-to-end health insurance journey and connects individual members to payers and providers.

“With his profound experience and knowledge of our business, Moses is best positioned to lead CarePay International as the Group’s CFO and to help expand the proven concept to other countries. In his new role, Moses will end up responsible for our finance organisation, including the financial setup for new countries, securing future funding, and all risk, legal and compliance matters within CarePay,” Kees van Lede, CEO at CarePay International, said.
