NBC Tanzania has joined CFO East Africa as a corporate member.
The bank’s CFO, Rayson Foya, joins alongside George Radonde, head of finance, Veronica Kanyama, compliance officer, and Jerry Shuma, head of IT.
The membership gives all four access to CFO East Africa’s events, insights and networks, including CFO summits in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as affiliated events in South Africa such as CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.
Members also receive print editions of CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable continuing professional development (CPD) and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.
Established in 1967, NBC is Tanzania’s oldest serving bank and the only international bank with a presence across the entire country. It provides retail, business, corporate and investment banking, as well as wealth management services, through a network of 51 branches and more than 230 ATMs. Its shareholders are Absa Group, which holds a 55 percent stake, the Government of Tanzania with 30 percent and the International Finance Corporation with 15 percent.
CFO East Africa corporate membership is available at an annual investment of $1,950, enabling CFOs to extend the community’s networking and professional development opportunities to two direct reports.
