Noel Ngonyani has been appointed CFO of Tanzanian consulting firm Dolphin Professional Services. The move marks Noel’s entry into C-suite finance leadership, after having previously held the role of finance and administration manager at Muhima and Company for four years.
At Muhima and Company, Noel managed the company's financial wellbeing and led the administrative team, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance. He began his career as a project accountant at Kyela College for Skills and Technology before taking up the role of country operations manager at Boston & Chance Tanzania, a subsidiary of UK-based Boston & Chance.
In 2015, he was appointed as finance manager of Kango Tanzania, a production company that creates content for brands, where he played a key role in the establishment of the business. He then joined Amana Bank, Tanzania’s first fully-fledged Islamic Bank, as a recovery officer. During his three-year tenure at the bank, Noel moved up the ranks from internal auditor to senior finance officer, expanding the scope of his role and assuming greater responsibilities over time.
He left Amana Bank in 2019 and joined Acclaim Construction Supplies (ACS), which supplies high-performance construction materials to projects, contractors and ready mix concrete suppliers across East Africa. In his role at ACS, Noel secured funding that resulted in exponential growth in sales and oversaw daily financial operations.
