The agrifinance institution has spent over two decades bridging the gap between Tanzania's agricultural entrepreneurs and formal financing.

PASS Trust has joined CFO East Africa as a corporate member, with director of finance Doreen Mangesho now gaining full access to the community's events and networks, alongside Grace Joseph, finance manager, and Frank Leonidas, risk and compliance officer.

They will attend CFO summits across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as affiliated events in South Africa, including CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.

The package also includes print editions of CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable CPD, and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.

Established in 2000 as a joint initiative between the governments of Tanzania and Denmark, PASS Trust is a non-profit organisation dedicated to stimulating investment and growth in Tanzania's agricultural sector.

The trust provides credit guarantee services and agribusiness development support to smallholder farmers, cooperatives, SMEs and financial institutions across the country, bridging the gap between agricultural entrepreneurs and formal financing.

It operates under the National Economic Empowerment Council and is Tanzania's primary facility for agrifinance innovation.

Corporate membership is available to CFOs who would like to support the community's activities while extending growth benefits to their senior finance team members at an annual investment of $1,950.
