Tania Ngima takes on dual leadership role at Livelihood Impact Fund

She joins Livelihood Impact Fund as finance director and senior advisor for urban living, bringing over two decades of strategic finance and operations expertise.

Tania Ngima has been appointed finance director and senior advisor for urban living at Livelihood Impact Fund. She steps into the role after nearly six years as managing director of Dijitali, an IKEA Foundation programme under Digital Divide Data.

She previously served as CEO and later director at Demo Ventures, where she led investor relations across Kenya, Rwanda, Morocco, and North and South Africa and supported portfolio companies.

Her career in finance began at Fintech Kenya, where she rose through four promotions over 11 years to lead finance operations in Kenya with oversight across three additional countries. 

Tania has also held board positions including independent non-executive director at CFS Assets Management and Resolution Insurance, and serves as inaugural member of the technical committee at Kenya National Innovation Agency.

She holds an MBA in international business from the University of Birmingham and is a certified public accountant (CPA-K). She is also a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and 2015 Young African Leaders Initiative Fellow.
