Akash Ladha is the chief financial officer of BAG Innovation. He was appointed to the role in October 2020. Since September 2020, he has also served as managing partner at ALSM, an audit and advisory firm based in Kigali.
From February 2021 to February 2022, Akash served as CFO at Munyax Eco, a Rwandan company specialising in solar water heating and photovoltaic systems. Prior to that, he was the CFO at VIEBEG between April 2021 to April 2022.
Akash began his career as an articled assistant at Kumbhat Advisors in August 2013 and worked as a trainee research analyst at Niveshaay Investment Advisory from April 2014 to March 2015. He was the finance manager at Mount Meru Group in Kigali from December 2016 to July 2019, following a three-month management trainee stint at the firm’s Mumbai office. Before moving into the Rwandan market, Akash worked as a senior financial analyst at Kumbhat Advisors in India from September 2019 to August 2020.
He holds a Master’s degree from the Association of Chartered Certfied Accountants (ACCA) and holds an accounting certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
