Aminah Galenda is the head of finance and administration at Tropical Bank Uganda.
She began her career at Equity Bank Uganda, where she spent over six years in progressive roles across branch accounting, fixed asset management and financial reporting. She later joined Cairo Bank Uganda as financial controller, a role she held for close to five years. During that period, she also served as acting chief finance officer from June 2021 to June 2022. In May 2024, she took up her current position as head of finance and administration at Tropical Bank Uganda.
Aminah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Makerere University. She is also a certified public accountant and holds the ACCA qualification.
