Daisy Wanjie is the group chief financial officer at African Guarantee Fund (AGF). 

She joined AGF in 2015 as chief accountant. Daisy was appointed group chief financial officer in 2020, a role in which she supports the board and partners in driving sustainable growth. 

She built her earlier career in commercial banking. Daisy worked in financial control at Ecobank Kenya between 2008 and 2012.

She then joined Equatorial Commercial Bank as finance and administration manager, leading budgeting and liquidity planning for the lender and preparing statutory reports for the Central Bank of Kenya.

Daisy trained as an external auditor at Githongo and Company Associates before moving into advisory work at PKF Consulting Firm and later Synovate.

She holds a Master's degree in international business management and a BCom in finance, both from the University of Nairobi.
