Dorothy Kiprono was appointed as the finance manager of Aerolink Uganda in October 2021.
She has more than 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting in the aviation industry, having begun as an assistant accountant at Agricultural Finance Corporation. She joined BCD Travel as a payables accountant in May 2011, serving in the role for three years before moving on to a similar position at AirKenya Express. In April 2015, Dorothy was appointed as treasury accountant at the airline. After a three-year stint, Dorothy transitioned to Regional Air Services Tanzania as chief accountant, a role she held until October 2021.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA in strategic management from Kenyatta University. She is also a certified public accountant (CPA-K).
