Dr Karimi Ngeera is the finance director and grants portfolio manager at HEVA Fund.
She joined the organisation in November 2023 to manage its grants portfolio and was promoted to finance director in May 2024. Prior to that, she worked as finance and grants manager at the Centre for Public Health and Development from May 2021 to November 2023. Between October 2022 and September 2023, she also held a concurrent role as finance lead at research and social enterprise firm Includovate.
From May 2019 to May 2021, she was head of finance at Power Transmission and Control Services. She joined Two Ems Associates in August 2015 and served as finance and administration manager until March 2019. Earlier in her career, she worked as an accountant at Centenary Sacco after transitioning from her role as new business executive at Standard Chartered Bank.
She holds a Doctor of Business Administration from USIU Africa, an MBA in finance from Kenya Methodist University, and a BCom in finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
