Evase Niyigena is the chief finance officer of Ecobank Rwanda.
He began his career at EY in Kigali, where he worked as a senior auditor from November 2012.
Evase joined Access Bank Rwanda in June 2016 as head of financial management and external reporting.
In June 2019, he moved to I&M Bank Rwanda, initially serving as chief accountant. He was promoted to head of finance in February 2024, a role from which he oversaw the bank's financial operations and strategy for nearly two years before his appointment at Ecobank Rwanda.
Evase holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the School of Finance and Banking. He is a certified public accountant.
