Hillary Oonge is the chief financial officer of Furaha Financial.
He began his career in 2010 as a collections officer at Absa Bank Kenya. In 2011, he joined Sanlam Kenya as an assistant accountant before rising to corporate treasurer in 2013. He then moved to Vivo Energy in 2016 as a treasury accountant.
In 2017, Hillary joined M-KOPA Solar as group treasury manager, later serving briefly as acting head of supply chain in 2020. In 2023, he was appointed chief financial officer at Pezesha. He then served as chief operating officer and partner at SKM Africa between 2024 and 2025. He took up his current position at Furaha Financial in September 2025.
Hillary holds an executive MBA from Strathmore University, a BCom in accounting from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and additional executive training from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and the MECA CFO Academy. He is a certified public accountant (CPA-K) and CISA certified.
