Josephine Mbabazi is the head of corporate services at the Capital Markets Authority Rwanda.
She began her career in finance and accounting, building experience across manufacturing, agribusiness and construction before moving into capital markets. She joined Inyange Industries in 2020 as chief accountant, rising to acting finance director within a year. In 2021, she moved to Ruliba Clays as finance and administration manager, a role she held for close to three years, before joining Real Contractors as director of finance in 2024. She assumed her current position at the Capital Market Authority Rwanda in April 2025.
Josephine serves as a member of the board of directors at Smallholder Resilience Ventures, a role she has held since 2023.
She is a certified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a certified public accountant. She is currently pursuing an MBA (Global) at the London School of Business and Finance.
