Moses Kang'ethe

Moses Kang'ethe is the acting chief executive officer and principal officer of Britam Life Assurance Company (Kenya), a position he assumed in May 2026.

He joined Britam Life Assurance as chief finance officer in September 2016, having spent the preceding six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Kenya and the United Kingdom, where he built his expertise in audit and financial services advisory.

Moses began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Kenya as an audit manager in July 2010, focused primarily on the financial services sector. He moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers in the United Kingdom in October 2010, serving as assistant audit manager in the insurance and investment management practice for two years. He returned to Kenya in October 2012 as manager, then progressed to senior manager in July 2014.

In September 2025, his responsibilities broadened when he was appointed acting chief operations officer, extending his oversight beyond finance into the wider operational running of the business. Eight months later, he stepped into the acting CEO role.

Moses holds a BCom in accounting from the University of Nairobi and an MBA from Strathmore University Business School. He is a certified public accountant (CPA-K) and holds a certified information aystems auditor (CISA) designation.
