Paul Mungai is the group CFO of Jubilee Insurance.
Until April 2026, he served as the insurer's group head of finance.
He began his career in March 2011 as an accountant for payables at UAP Life Assurance, later becoming senior credit controller in July 2013. In November 2015, he joined UAP Insurance South Sudan as chief accountant and was promoted to acting head of finance and property in May 2018. In August 2019, he moved to Old Mutual Insurance Rwanda , where he served as head of finance for nearly four years. He joined Jubilee Insurance in June 2023 as senior regional head of finance and was appointed group head of finance in April 2025.
Paul holds executive MBAs from Strathmore Business School and IESE Business School and a BCom in finance from Kenyatta University. He is also a certified public accountant (CPA-K).
