Seleman Issa is the group director of finance and administration at Frostan.
He started his career in 2010 as branch accountant at Revival Church Saccos in Dar es Salaam, where he worked for two years before transitioning to Simon Group as senior accountant.
In 2015, he joined PKF Tanzania as an auditor and was later promoted to audit senior. Over five years, he managed audit fieldwork and reviewed financial reports for compliance with IFRS and other standards. He later assumed the role of audit senior at Assad Associates.
Seleman was appointed as financial controller at the French School of Tanzania in 2023 before being promoted to finance director in 2024. There, he managed financial reporting, governance, and organisational oversight. In addition, he has volunteered as a mentor with the Tanzania Association of Accountants since 2022, supporting mentees in financial skills and professional development.
He holds a master’s degree in accounting and finance and an advanced diploma in accounting from the Institute of Finance Management. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in tax administration from the Institute of Tax Administration. Seleman is a certified public accountant (CPA-T).
