Wangeci Kanjama was appointed Group CFO of Spiro in November 2023.
Prior to that, she held the role of director of Partnerships and Special Projects at M-Pesa Africa, after serving as finance director at the mobile money transfer provider.
Wangeci has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, having spent 13 years at Safaricom. She started as the head of Head of Business Planning & Forecasting in 2007, before taking on the position of head of Wholesale and Roaming in 2015. She then became the head of Business Partnering & Performance Management.
She holds a B.Com in Finance and Financial Management from the University of Nairobi.
