Diamond Trust Bank Kenya joins CFO East Africa as corporate member

The tier one East African bank celebrates its 80th year in operation this year.

Diamond Trust Bank has joined CFO East Africa as a corporate member, with DTB Kenya finance and strategy director Alkarim Jiwa and DTB Tanzania CFO Deusdedith Mulindwa, alongside other senior company executives, now gaining full access to the community's events and networks.

They will attend CFO summits across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as affiliated events in South Africa, including CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.

The package also includes print editions of CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable CPD, and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.

An affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network, Diamond Trust Bank was founded in 1946 and is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. The group operates across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi, with over 160 branches serving individuals, SMEs and corporates. DTB has expanded its focus beyond its traditional SME base into agriculture, education and fintech, and is investing heavily in digital banking infrastructure across the region.
