Equity Group takes up CFO East Africa corporate membership

For Equity's senior finance team, the membership provides year-round exposure to regional finance leaders and opportunities for career development.

Equity Group has joined CFO East Africa as a corporate member, opening doors for its senior finance team to connect with the region's top financial minds.

The move gives group finance director Stephen Owuyo full access to CFO East Africa's experiences and insights, alongside group head of financial reporting and controls Jackson Mbogo and Kenya finance director Mwende Kausya. The trio will attend CFO summits across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, plus affiliated events in South Africa including CFO Day, Executive Day and the Finance Indaba.

The package includes print editions of CFO East Africa and CFO South Africa magazines, certificates for up to 56 hours of verifiable CPD and invitations to the annual CFO Awards in both regions.

Stephen, who stepped into his role in 2025, has two decades of experience in financial management and strategic leadership across more than 10 African countries.

Corporate membership is available to CFOs who would like to support the community's activities while extending growth benefits to their senior finance team members at an annual investment of $1,950.
