She brings over 15 years of finance leadership across East and Southern Africa to the London-listed mining company.
Esther Ndeto has been appointed CFO at Marula Mining, effective April 2026. She brings more than 15 years of experience in financial strategy, blended finance, treasury management, and IFRS reporting across East and Southern Africa.
In her new role, Esther will be responsible for financial management and reporting, budgeting, strategic capital allocation and risk management. She will also lead financial operations, support regulatory compliance and internal controls and inform strategic decision-making.
She began her career as a senior audit clerk at Inayat Bhaiji, before moving to Grain Bulk Handlers Limited as a payroll accountant. In November 2011, she joined Alios Finance as chief accountant, where she directed finance operations across Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia for seven years.
In November 2018, Esther moved to Kenya Pooled Water Fund as finance manager. She subsequently joined IMFact as finance manager in August 2021.
Esther holds a BCom in accounting from Africa Nazarene University and an MBA in fintech and blockchain from Nexford University. She is a certified public accountant (CPA-K).
